Rhys Evans of Aberystwyth Squash Club competed on the biggest stage of them all at the British Junior Open Squash Championships @ Birmingham University in January and made it to the third round with some great performances on the way.
A final finishing position of 21 out of the 120 juniors from all over the World, Rhys was mixing it with the best around and consolidated his place as one of the top juniors in the UK. Rhys was joined in Birmingham by a number of other Welsh Juniors flying the flag for Wales in a number of Under age categories.
Rhys will be next be in action at the Welsh Junior Closed in Cardiff where he will be hoping to win another Welsh junior title before heading to the French Junior Open in February and then a number of PSA events are lined up. Go well Rhys!!!
